Today is nurse's day. Here is a tribute to some wonderful nurses I have had the privilege to work with and continue to work with. There have been many nurses that have touched my life and made life a little easier. Thank you!

A nurse’s heart is no ordinary heart.
It is a heart that comforts the fearful.
It is a heart that encourages the disheartened.
It is a heart that brings comfort
to those who have suffered the loss of loved ones.
It is a heart that shows the newly diagnosed or injured
that they have the strength to persevere.
It is a heart that brings hope to the hopeless.
It is a heart that helps those in deep anguish
see all the reasons for living.

It is a heart filled with strength, compassion, and love.
It is a heart that jumps for joy at each milestone in healing.
It is a heart that has been broken
time after time by the sorrows witnessed.
It is a heart that will provide strength
and help to those in need day after day with joy and peace,
despite the difficulties that come its way.
