Weekend recap

Emily was able to donate 12 inches of her hair to locks of love. Her hair cut is really cute, but it is a little difficult to get used to her having short hair. It is really strange to not be able to braid it, etc. Hopefully by the time it grows out, she'll still let me do fun things with it!

We are redoing the shower in our bathroom and measured and found we have enough room for a 48 inch stall. Unfortunately, the rest of our house was not built so you could get even a 2 piece stall in it!!! After numerous tries, including hefting it up to the roof and attempting to get in the door to no where, it was decided we would put in a NEW door to nowhere that is wider. After taking out the old door, they were able to bring in the shower stall. Then they put in the new one. Won't the next homeowners be surprised when they try to get a new 48 inch stall in--they'll wonder how we got ours in! Gotta love old houses!
