Crock Pot Pizza
Ingredients:
12 oz. Kluski Egg noodles*
1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
1 medium onion, chopped**
14 oz. jar pizza sauce (I make my own)
28 oz. jar spaghetti sauce (I make my own or buy when cheap)
1/2-1 cup fresh mushroom, sliced thin**
1/2-1 cup green pepper, diced**
8oz. grated parmesan cheese
8oz. shredded mozarella cheese
1 pkg. (4oz) pepperoni
*these are not regular egg noodles, they are more like Reames' noodles when cooked
**You can change these up, even add olives, other toppings you would put on pizza.
Directions:
Cook noodles til "al dente".
Add sauces and vegetables (onion, green pepper, mushrooms, etc) to ground beef.
Layer in crockpot or 9x13 pan as follows: 1/2 beef mixture, 1/2 noodles, 1/2 cheese, rest of meat, noodles, then cheese.
Cook in crock pot 2 hours or until cheese is melted. If in pan, cook in oven at 350 for 30 minutes.
Tips:
This can be assembled ahead of time and kept in the fridge overnight. Don't put the top layer of cheese on until right before you are going to cook it to prevent the cheese from becoming discolored. You will also need to add cook time due to the crock pot being being cold.
I like to cook the pepperoni on a couple layers of paper towels in the microwave for about 45 seconds to get rid of a lot of the grease.

So when you make your own pizza and spaghetti sauces, is that two different recipes or do you use the same recipe for both (which is what I'd probably do)?
